ABSTRACT
In this work we have investigated stereoselective synthesis of cis and/or trans β-lactams under diverse conditions. Ten different reaction conditions have been used for this study. It is important to note that the stereochemistry of the β-lactam formation reaction depends on the conditions of the experiments, structures of the imines and acid chlorides, order of additionof the reagents, reaction temperature and solvents. To summarize the results, mathematical graphs are plotted.
